Integrative Therapy - Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH)

A solution focused, practical & evidence-based approach that  focuses on problems experienced in the present, that teaches you to become your own therapist.

What to Expect

I use a holistic, person-centred approach, which relies on evidence based principles of neuroscience and psychology. We’ll explore how your thoughts, emotions, and actions interact, helping you recognise unhelpful patterns and develop tools that fit your life, that can help you make changes, cope better or become unstuck

Sessions are structured but flexible, allowing space to explore challenges and work towards meaningful change and better overall wellbeing.

I can help you with a range of challenges, including:

  • Anxiety, stress, panic & worry.

  • Feeling stuck and overwhelmed.

  • Fears & phobias

  • Improving sleep and learning how to relax.

  • Improving confidence & low self-esteem

  • Mood & depression

  • Building healthier habits and breaking unhelpful ones such as binge eating, over eating and procrastination

  • Pain management support

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Eating related issues: Binge eating, bulimia, body dysmorphic disorder

  • Neurodivergence related issues

  • Physical health challenges: Easing symptoms of menopause, fibromyalgia and chronic pain.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a proven, evidence-based approach that helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions. It’s effective for managing a range of difficulties because it focuses on changing unhelpful patterns.

CBT techniques, such as thought records, structured questioning, and behavioural experiments, help reframe your experiences. We’ll also work on gradually facing fears in a structured way, exploring the patterns that hold you back and developing strategies to break free from them.

.

Hypnotherapy & Self Hypnosis

Hypnosis can help you relax and focus, promoting positive shifts in your thinking and behaviour. We’ll use both guided and self-hypnosis to help you feel more receptive to change, raise awareness of your feelings and sensations, and understand how your thoughts affect your experience. It also highlights how much power we have over our bodies through our thoughts. Hypnosis can deepen the work we do and help create lasting relief, however it’s not essential if you’d prefer not to use it. I’ll also teach and provide self-hypnosis techniques for you to practice outside of our sessions.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness can help you learn to observe thoughts without immediate reactions, creating space for reflection and helping you build resilience. By increasing awareness of your thoughts and emotions, you can change how you respond to challenges in a way that feels more balanced and intentional.

Why Work With Me?

My integrative, solution-focused approach is designed to help you break free from the cycles that keep you stuck, not just cope with them. We’ll focus on making practical, lasting shifts that help you feel balanced, confident, and in control of your life. I understand therapy and making any change can feel overwhelming, so I meet you where you are at and tailor my approach to your unique needs, using and discussing strategies that work specifically for you.

I’ve helped many people navigate challenges like anxiety, stress, trauma, and unhelpful habits. Whether it’s breaking deep-rooted patterns or learning to regulate your nervous system, we’ll find the right tools to help you move forward with resilience and peace of mind. Together, we’ll uncover the underlying factors behind your struggles, addressing them with evidence-based techniques to create lasting change.

I work closely with you to create a personalized treatment plan that fits your unique lifestyle and goals. Your input is essential, ensuring we tailor our work together to suit what’s most meaningful and effective for you.

Using the latest evidence-based CBT techniques, I help you achieve practical improvements quickly. We’ll firstly focus on strategies that lead to fast relief while also promoting relaxation and long-term well-being, after which we focus on 'deeper' work.

My work is grounded in neuroscience, cognitive psychology, and the most effective, research-backed techniques available. Whether it’s CBT, hypnosis, or mindfulness, you’ll get the best, scientifically supported tools to help you navigate challenges and see tangible results.

If we plan to use Hypnosis, You’ll remain fully awake and in control throughout the process. With no trance or outdated methods, you actively engage in your healing journey, empowering yourself with practical tools and techniques that fit your life.

I look at the whole person, not just the symptoms. Together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, emotions, and actions interact, helping you break free from unhelpful patterns and build resilience. Sessions are structured but flexible, so we can adjust as we go, focusing on what matters most to you.

This therapy helps to regulate the nervous system, enabling you to build long-term strategies for managing stress and emotions more effectively. Through a combination of evidence-based techniques, such as CBT, hypnosis, and mindfulness, we work together to reduce overall stress hormones in the body, promoting a sense of calm and balance. Over time, this leads to a healthier, more balanced nervous system and a reduction in the impact of stress on your well-being.

This isn’t just about quick fixes; I help you build long-term resilience and a tool of strategies that help you continue moving forward after therapy. The techniques we use will not only help with immediate challenges but also empower you to manage stress, anxiety, and difficult emotions with greater ease, moving forward with confidence.
